Annual German Heritage Dinner
The Dinner was held Saturday, February 17. The weather was wonderful. We served, including the help, around 582. The "mettwurst" links sold out before the dinner was over.

Sacrament of Holy Baptism
Sunday, February 11, Harper Ellisyn Griffin and Sloane Monroe Griffin were welcomed into the family of God in the waters of baptism. Their parents are Stacy and Curtis Griffin and older sister are Faylynn, Mckynlee, and Hadleigh (in eternity). Sponsors are Irene Schoening, Crystal Curtis, Brady Griffin, and Cody Griffin.

Sunday, February 4th, Hunter Thompson Booker (6 months), son of Melissa and Jesse Booker and brother to Allison (8 years), is welcomed into the family of God through baptism into the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. Sponsors are Cindy and Jeff Rinderer.
No Electricity but Worship Continues
Sunday morning the power went off and the service continued. It was a beautiful and meaningful service, very quiet and peaceful. (In this new age we were able to read by using our cell phones!)
The Annual Meeting was held after the service. Kris Sorensen was elected Council Secretary replacing Linda McManigal. Thank you Linda for keeping us on track these last four years. Re-elected to serve on the Council: Christine Clayton-Elder; Gretchen Speck-Elder. Re-elected by the Council for 2018 are Gloria Ross, President and Christine Clayton, Vice President.
