ATTENTION: Something new for Sunday School. Sunday School will ONLY be held on the THIRD Sunday of each month. The entire church family will begin worship in the sanctuary. After the opening hymn, the SS teachers will escort the 4 year-olds to confirmation age children downstairs to our new location. During this time there will be Bible Stories, crafts, activities, games, projects-whatever fits the theme for the day. The students will then come up for communion at that time to conclude worship.

Fall Festival Sunday, November 10 What a fun event! Thank you to our co-chairs Sara Delraso and Jennifer Schoening. A big thank you to our Auctioneer Shane Sayers. This was his "15" year auctioneering for this event. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a success. First year for the pulled pork contest-meat was delicious. Thank you to those who entered the baking contest. So many to thank: judges, servers, those who donated to the auction and those who generously purchased. Reformation, Confirmation Sunday October 27 Congratulations to our Confirmands: Briar Van Heuvelen, Burke Van Heuvelen, McKynlee Griffin, Annaleise Henderson, Grant McCollester, Dylan Powles, Colton Hastie. Something exciting for the Youth!
The cement is in. Terry and Bill have installed the basketball pole. Now all it needs is fencing and its ready for ball! This is located on the north side of the playground. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this project! Roof and Cross Update
The church looks great. The new metal roofing is on. The large outdoor cross is now painted bronze. The Parsonage and Garage are also reroofed. Thank you to Terry Tedder for his work on the cross and to Paul Heitman's Reroof America crews for their hard work on hot days. |

Women of St. John are sponsoring monthly food drives for the MCMA (Mills County Ministerial Association) and the Mills County Food Pantry's. The MCMA Food Pantry needs volunteers as well as donations of frozen meats and meals. |

- Once a month-how about helping with the MCMA food pantry.
Our virtual worship could use additional helpers. This is not every Sunday. Frank, Gretchen, and Terry will help you learn what to do. It is a wonderful out reach to the area. Many of our members who are home bound or moved away tell how much they appreciate it.
